Boris Lobanov is an independent artist for whom music has been a form of self-expression since childhood. From an early age, he sang and tried to write his own songs: lyrics came easily, while music required more effort due to the lack of formal education. At that stage, musician friends supported him and helped bring his ideas to life.

In his творчество, Boris does not limit himself to a single genre. He is drawn to beautiful melodies and a wide range of musical styles - from jazz and rock to classical music. He is inspired by what he listens to and strives to reflect this diversity in his own compositions.

For Boris, music is прежде всего about enjoyment and inner expression. Each song is built on three key elements: thought, mood, and feeling.

Among his musical influences are Nat King Cole, Italian pop music, and Russian chanson. However, his main source of inspiration comes from personal experiences: about 90% of his songs are based on real emotions, while the rest is shaped by imagination.

The creative process always begins with lyrics. While writing poetry, Boris naturally develops the rhythm and the foundation of the melody, which later evolve into a full track. He works in different environments: lyrics can come to him anywhere - at home or on the go - while music is usually created at home.

Creating a single composition can take anywhere from half an hour (in moments of inspiration) to several months, depending on the process and search for the right sound. For Boris, the most challenging part is writing a new song.

He admits that he still does not view music as a strict professional system and does not aim to follow the rules of the show business industry, preferring to maintain creative freedom.

A special place in his work is held by the track “New Day”, written for his own birthday - a composition that, in his words, turned out especially organic and sincere.

Today, he calmly reacts to hearing his music on the radio. For him, the most important thing is that the music reaches its listener. If a song resonates with someone, it means there is something in common - and that brings a sense of hope and belief.

His plans are to continue writing new songs, developing at his own pace, and staying honest in his creativity.
