Den SG (real name — Denis Ivanov) is a Russian rap artist born in 1996 in the city of Vyazma. His creative journey began with simple life observations and gradually turned into a sincere musical dialogue with listeners.
Denis grew up in a poor family. From childhood he believed in God and in the idea that fate can change at any moment if a person keeps moving forward. In the third grade he began singing in the school choir together with his classmates. However, at that time music did not seem like something serious or important to him.
A real interest in music appeared later — during his teenage years, when Denis discovered rap culture. Inspired by artists such as Guf, Slim, and Ptaha, as well as the rap group CENTR, he began to see music as a way to express his thoughts, emotions, and life experiences.
Den SG recorded his first track in 2012. It was far from perfect, but it marked the beginning of his musical path.
Over time, music became not just a hobby for him but his main passion and priority.

Creativity and Style
The music of Den SG is characterized by sincerity and emotional depth. In his lyrics, the artist often touches on themes such as:
- love
- relationships
- personal experiences
- life choices
His musical taste was also influenced by artists such as Mnogotochie and NTL, whose lyrical approach and atmosphere left a noticeable impact on his perception of music.
Most of Den SG’s tracks begin with the lyrics. Sometimes inspiration comes from a melody he hears somewhere, which gradually transforms into a full song idea. His compositions often include elements of personal stories — especially in lyrical tracks about love, memories, and loss.
The Creative Process
Den SG most often works on music at home, although ideas for new songs can come anywhere — even while traveling.
Creating one track usually takes from one to several weeks. The most difficult part of the process, according to the artist, is bringing the song to its final release version. Sometimes a track has to be recorded multiple times until it sounds exactly the way he wants listeners to hear it.
Path and Experience
The first time Den SG stepped onto a stage, he realized that music was his true calling.
At the beginning of his journey, the biggest challenge was writing lyrics, and later it became sound quality. Around 2013 he faced the problem that his recordings sounded far from the level heard in modern releases. Over time, however, he significantly improved the quality of his music.
One of the songs he is especially proud of is “Snachala” (“At First”). He spent a long time refining this track until it reached the version that listeners hear today.
Music and Listeners
For Den SG, feedback from listeners is extremely important.
It is not just about likes or comments on social media — it is about a real dialogue with the audience that makes music meaningful.
Den SG’s music is a sincere conversation with the listener. He aims to convey not just words over a beat, but real emotions and universal stories in which people can recognize themselves.
Present and Future Plans
Today, Den SG’s work is built on a balance between several key elements:
- depth of lyrics and concepts
- experimentation with sound and formats
- communication with listeners through visuals, concerts, and social media
The artist continues to work actively on new tracks and collaborations.
For Den SG, development is not a sudden turn but a natural evolution of the music he has already built. He wants to preserve the recognizable lyrical foundation of his style while expanding it with new forms, meanings, and sounds.
Den SG does not simply record songs — he builds a musical world in which listeners can immerse themselves.
A Message to Listeners
Dear listeners,
I’m writing this while looking at the night city from home, where I’ve just finished a few lines of a new track. And the first thing I want to say is thank you.
Thank you for:
- listening to my songs in moments of joy and sadness
- sharing them with your friends and loved ones
- writing messages about how a certain line touched your heart
- singing along at concerts, even if you don’t know all the words
- waiting for new releases and asking, “When will the next one come out?”
You turn music from just a set of sounds into a living dialogue. And that is the most valuable thing an artist can have.
