Ezmir

Ezmir is a rising artist from Ashgabat whose music blends pop rock, contemporary pop, and emotionally driven lyricism. His work is built on sincerity, personal experiences, and stories in which listeners can recognize a part of themselves.

Ezmir's passion for music began in childhood. His first public performance took place during a school talent show, inspiring him to start writing poetry and recording his earliest songs at a local studio. At the time, however, music remained a personal passion rather than a career. After completing his military service, he stepped away from creativity for several years, focusing on work and everyday life.

His return to music came unexpectedly through karaoke. Performing his favorite songs and recording cover versions gradually rekindled his creative spark. A turning point came when a friend asked, "Why do you keep singing other people's songs? Why not write one of your own?" That conversation led to the creation of his debut original single, "Edkiy Yad" ("Caustic Poison"), released in October 2025. The release marked the true beginning of Ezmir's journey as an artist.

Pop rock remains the foundation of his sound- a genre that allows him to combine live instrumentation, emotional delivery, and meaningful storytelling. At the same time, Ezmir refuses to limit himself to a single style, constantly experimenting with modern sounds and exploring different musical directions. Regardless of the genre, authenticity and genuine emotion remain at the heart of every song he creates.

His inspiration often comes from real-life experiences, personal reflections, and emotions that naturally evolve into music. Most songs begin with an idea, which gradually develops into lyrics, melody, and arrangement. While many of his compositions are rooted in personal experiences, Ezmir deliberately leaves the line between reality and artistic fiction open to interpretation. For him, the emotional truth behind a song matters far more than the literal story.

Among the artists who have influenced his musical style, Ezmir cites Lesha Svik and Xolidayboy. Their emotional performances, atmospheric sound, and ability to communicate deep feelings have played an important role in shaping his own artistic identity.

A special place in his discography belongs to the track "224." Ezmir considers it one of the defining moments of his career. During the recording process, he successfully reached a vocal note he had never been able to perform before, making the song both a personal milestone and one of his proudest achievements.

Despite his creative progress, one of the greatest challenges has been promoting his music. Living in a country with a relatively small Russian-speaking audience, Ezmir often finds himself trying to reach listeners thousands of kilometers away. He believes that creating great music is only half the journey- the other half is making sure people have the chance to hear it.

Audience feedback has become one of the strongest sources of motivation in his career. It was the heartfelt messages from complete strangers that made him realize his music had grown beyond a personal hobby. Knowing that his songs genuinely resonate with people confirmed that he had chosen the right path.

At the core of Ezmir's music is a simple but powerful message: emotions should never be hidden. His songs encourage listeners to embrace their feelings, love openly, accept vulnerability, and understand that they are never alone in what they experience. Through his music, he hopes to offer comfort, understanding, and emotional connection.

Today, Ezmir continues to work on new material, explore fresh musical ideas, and prepare upcoming releases. His upcoming projects include the single "Day Mne Shans" ("Give Me a Chance") as well as a collaboration with fellow artist Pesso, who has been both a close friend and a creative supporter since the very beginning of his musical journey.

Looking ahead, Ezmir plans to focus more on live performances. He believes the stage creates a unique connection with the audience and offers emotions that can never be fully recreated inside a recording studio. For him, performing live represents the next important chapter in his artistic career.
