? Celine Dion returns with new single “Dansons”

Legendary Canadian singer, known worldwide for her hit “My Heart Will Go On”, has released a new song — “Dansons” (“Let’s Dance”). The release marks an important step in her return to music after a hiatus caused by her diagnosis of Stiff Person Syndrome, which she revealed in 2022.

The new track, written by Jean-Jacques Goldman, carries a sense of nostalgia, featuring subtle references to “Les derniers seront les premiers” from her 1995 album D’eux.

This French-language ballad is her first major release since the album Courage (2019). However, in 2023, she also recorded several songs for the romantic drama Love Again, in which she made an on-screen appearance.

? Return to the stage

The release of “Dansons” comes alongside another major announcement — Celine Dion is preparing for a series of concerts at Paris La Défense Arena.

A total of 16 shows are scheduled from September to October, taking place on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

“Every day, I felt your support, your love, and your kindness. You helped me in ways I can’t even describe…
This year, I’m receiving the greatest birthday gift — the chance to see you again and perform for you in Paris,” the singer shared.

 An emotional comeback

Recently, the artist also made a powerful public appearance during the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games 2024, where she performed the iconic song Hymne à l'amour near the Eiffel Tower — one of the most touching moments of the event.

Additionally, in the 2024 documentary “I Am: Celine Dion”, she opened up about her battle with the rare condition and the challenges of returning to the stage.

“Dansons” is more than just a new song — it’s a symbol of resilience, gratitude, and a powerful comeback.
