Lana Del Rey unveils new single from upcoming album

Lana Del Rey has released a brand-new single, “White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter,” marking the first official preview of her upcoming tenth studio album.

The song was co-written with her husband Jeremy Dufrene — his first credit as a songwriter — as well as her sister Chuck Grant and her brother-in-law Jason Pickens. The album is produced by longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff, while Drew Erickson contributed string arrangements and served as co-producer.

The track continues Lana’s signature cinematic style, blending atmospheric production with deeply personal lyrics. Fans are already calling it the beginning of a new era and her major return following a creative pause.

“Stove” – a long-awaited release

Del Rey has described “White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter” as her favorite song from the new album, currently titled “Stove.”

In 2025, she also shared two other singles from the project: “Henry, come on” and “Bluebird.”

The official release date of Stove has not yet been confirmed. The album has gone through multiple title and schedule changes:

  • Originally announced as “Lasso” with a planned September 2024 release
  • Later renamed “The Right Person Will Stay” and scheduled for May 2025
  • Eventually retitled “Stove”

The album was expected in January 2026 but has yet to be released. According to Lana, the delay is largely due to vinyl production, which can take more than three months.

However, the singer assures fans that the wait is almost over.
