Alright, let’s start from the very beginning.

The initial point of the Universe was a singularity, where all space, time, energy, and matter were concentrated in a single point. At the moment of the Big Bang, this point began to expand rapidly.

As the Universe expanded, the temperature dropped. After the first few seconds, elementary particles like protons, neutrons, and electrons began to form.

No, maybe not that far back.

My name is Aleksey Salikhov, and I am 36 years old.

Now, let's move to the early 2000s. It was a time when rap was evolving, becoming a widespread phenomenon and a cultural force.

Artists like Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, The Game, Mobb Deep, and of course, Russian rap representatives – Triada, Kasta, Basta, UG, Zloy Dukh, Bad Balance, CENTR, and others – were constantly playing in my ears.

Back then, I was already trying to imitate the people who inspired me. I scribbled my first lyrics, simple rhymes, and ended up with a pile of crumpled paper in the trash. But I kept going, writing poems and sometimes even publishing them. Yet I always treated it as a hobby, a fleeting passion.

Then came college, and my field of study was far from the humanities. Still, when it came to general subjects like cultural studies, my passion for writing really helped. While others had to study, I simply recited my poems.

Poetry even helped me find my love.

At first, it was light, playful, slightly flirtatious lines. Then came declarations of love. And of course, the object of my admiration couldn’t resist such an approach. Now, we’ve been together for over 17 years.

As for my debut, it’s a rather straightforward story.

I had written so much that at one point I thought, “Why not try recording a song?” I had many doubts, as I had absolutely no experience in this field. I didn’t know where to get music, where to record, or what to do next.

One evening, while scrolling through YouTube, I stumbled upon a guy showing how easy it was to make a beat. At the end of the video, he said he could make one for you if you just wrote to him. So, I did.

Six months of effort, and on July 21, 2024, I finally released my album “Wings” under the stage name “Aion.”

The “Wings” album is the result of a long creative journey and reflects my personal path through hardships, hope, and the fight for a brighter future. I poured my deepest feelings and emotions into every song, and I hope they resonate with the listeners' hearts.

Every track in the “Wings” album carries a powerful emotional charge — from loss and sorrow to hope and resilience. I put my whole soul into these lyrics.

I will continue working in this direction. I enjoy my passion. Poetry, music, and songs are my way of expressing emotions, being creative, expressing myself, and creating something beautiful and personal.
