Velizara

Velizara is an author-performer, singer, poetess from Belgorod.

The creative name was chosen for a reason! There are no foreign letters in it!!!

Z is the ancient Slavic initial letter “Earth” (The correct spelling can be seen on the covers of all songs). Each letter has a meaning that can be deciphered using an ancient Slovenian initial letter.

- solo career began at the end of 2021;

- during this time, more than 70 tracks were released (one of them was a soundtrack for a historical film), 3 music albums, 1 album of audio poems;

- finalist of the All-Russian festival-competition "Verse Song" of the poetess Lyubava Trofimova in the category "Author's Song" (Moscow) of the first season 2022-2023;

-Finalist of the International Pop Song Award “Author’s Song of the Year” of the Russian Union of Performing Authors 2022;

- laureate of the International Literary and Musical Prize named after. Bulat Shalvovich Okudzhava “Let’s Exclaim” of the Russian Union of Performing Authors in the “Song” category 2023;

- a practicing physician with eight medical specialties.

Creativity is a state of mind and an integral part of all life!

I've been friends with the stage since childhood. For as long as I can remember, I sang, danced, drew... I actively participated in the life of the school and my native village. She won various district and regional competitions.

My first experience in writing was humorous stories in middle school.

She started writing songs after she was 20 years old. The impetus was a strong emotional experience. Then poems began to appear.

For a long time, only a few knew about these works, despite the fact that during her student years she worked as a vocalist.

As a conscientious person, after graduating from medical school, she plunged headlong into her professional activities. But the creative part of the personality still made itself felt!

I started writing actively during my second pregnancy. And with the birth of the baby into this world, life changed dramatically.

At the moment, songs and poems appear anywhere and in any circumstances: while driving... in a dream... while getting a haircut... after attending a performance... under the impression of friends' stories...

The works are imbued with goodness, positivity and, as a rule, with a happy ending!

Inspiring, they resonate in the hearts of many people, combining pop, folk, rock, chanson and ethno styles.

Velizara is life-affirming and wise poetry, a bright, memorable musical pattern of songs and incredible positive energy.
