AnnaBel (pronounced Annabelle, despite the absence of the ampersand at the end).

Real name: Anna Yuzmanova, nee Litvinova.

Why AnnaBel? The fact is that during her student days the pseudonym “Belka” stuck to Anna. On the one hand, I didn’t want to say goodbye to my favorite nickname, but on the other, it’s somehow undignified to remain Belka at thirty years of age. So squirrel was shortened to “bel”, and AnnaBel appeared instead of Anya Belka.

Here is what Anya herself writes about herself:

- I lived almost my entire life in a small village in the Samara region.

At one time I lived in France on and off, thanks to my work.

By education I am a mathematician, a systems programmer, and I work in the quality control department of a fairly large IT company.

An ardent fan of cinema and theater.

My love for music began in early childhood and has accompanied me throughout my life. I’ve been playing the piano since I was five, the guitar since I was 12, I’ve been writing songs since I was 14, and I’ve been singing for as long as I can remember, even if not professionally. But, despite the early start of her musical journey, she recorded her first track “Fire and Ice” only in the summer of 2023. I don’t know what prevented me from doing this before: lack of opportunity, motivation, belief that my work could be interesting to someone other than me? Probably all together. And so, leaving the studio for the first time, I realized that it would definitely not be the last.

The next song, “Together,” was recorded in September of the same year, and almost immediately after it was another, “Burn.” This is where it all began: an interview for radio, several proposals for cooperation, the first broadcast on the radio.

I’m afraid to delude myself ahead of time, but it seems that the path to the musical Olympus has finally opened, which I’m incredibly happy about!
