FKA Twigs Releases Playful Album Eusexua Afterglow

FKA twigs has released a new album, Eusexua Afterglow.

Originally conceived as a deluxe edition of Eusexua, FKA twigs' highly acclaimed album released earlier this year, Eusexua Afterglow has since evolved into a standalone effort, described as a "sequel" with an entirely new track list.

"A love letter to the techno rave scene and how it can ignite inner change, the new album expands on the feelings evoked by Eusexua, transforming them into a soundtrack for the post-rave hours and continuing that high throughout the experience," the press release reads. "Afterglow is an album steeped in techno reverence, but the beats are now fragmented, unstructured, and most importantly, playful." Eusexua Afterglow caps off a busy 2025 for FKA twigs, during which it was announced that she had been cast as the Virgin Mary in the upcoming horror film The Carpenter's Son, starring Nicolas Cage as a carpenter whose son turns out to be Jesus Christ. She is also set to play Josephine Baker in the upcoming biopic by French director Maïmouna Doucouré.
